Studio Baháe is an interior architecture and design practice founded in New Delhi, working across residences, hospitality, and cultural spaces in India and abroad. We believe that great interiors are not decorated—they are composed, layer by layer, until a space feels both inevitable and alive.
Our approach is rooted in materiality, craft, and a deep respect for context. Every project begins with listening—understanding how a space will be lived in, what it needs to say, and what it should quietly hold. We work with artisan networks, specialist fabricators, and a curated library of materials to deliver environments that endure beyond trends.

New Delhi · Private Residence · 2024
A meticulous restoration of a heritage Lutyens bungalow, blending colonial grandeur with restrained modern living. Every room was reimagined to honour original proportions while introducing contemporary comfort and understated luxury.
Mumbai · Contemporary Apartment · 2024
A 4,200 sq ft apartment on the 32nd floor of Altair, reimagined as a serene urban retreat. Warm wood tones, layered textiles, and expansive views create a dialogue between city energy and domestic calm.
Goa · Boutique Hospitality · 2023
An intimate 12-key boutique hotel nestled among cashew groves. The design draws from Goan vernacular architecture—exposed laterite walls, terracotta tiles, and deep verandahs that blur the boundary between indoors and out.
Dubai · Modern Residence · 2024
Set within the Arabian desert landscape, this villa draws its palette from sand, stone, and sky. Sculptural forms, rammed-earth textures, and courtyards create a home that feels both monumental and deeply grounded.
Alibag · Coastal Residence · 2023
A waterfront villa designed around its mangrove setting. Reclaimed teak, open-air pavilions, and a muted coastal palette ensure the house remains a quiet observer of the tides rather than a spectacle upon them.
New Delhi · Commercial Interior · 2024
Our own studio, conceived as a living laboratory for materials, craft, and collaboration. Raw concrete, hand-forged steel, and curated displays of sourced materials define a workspace that doubles as an experiential gallery.

Studio Baháe was established with a focus on residential interiors and a commitment to material-driven design.
Designed The Verandah in Goa, marking the studio's entry into boutique hospitality and earning regional recognition.
Expanded to projects in Dubai and Rajasthan, bringing the studio's material-first philosophy to a wider geographic context.
Opened a new studio and material library in New Delhi, doubling the team and deepening capabilities in lighting and spatial styling.
We shape the bones of a space—reconfiguring layouts, redefining volumes, and orchestrating the flow between rooms so that architecture and interior become a single, seamless experience.
From apartment refreshes to full home commissions, we create private spaces that feel deeply personal—layered, considered, and built around the rhythms of everyday life.
Hotels, restaurants, and retreats demand atmosphere at scale. We design environments that tell a story, balancing guest experience with operational intelligence and brand identity.
We source and curate furniture, finishes, and fabrics that carry meaning—from artisan-crafted heirlooms to precision-engineered contemporary pieces, each chosen for context and longevity.
Light transforms how a space is felt. We design layered lighting schemes—natural, ambient, and accent—that shape mood, highlight texture, and bring warmth to every hour of the day.
The final layer that gives a room its soul. We style with art, objects, and greenery to create moments of surprise and quiet beauty that make a house feel truly lived in.
Design is not decoration. It is the waya space makes you feel.
Every project begins with a conversation—not about colours or finishes, but about how a space should make you feel when you walk through the door. We believe design is an emotional act, a way of shaping atmosphere before form.
This philosophy guides every decision we make: from the weight of a door handle to the way light falls across a room at dusk. We don't chase trends—we listen, study, and create spaces that feel inevitable.
